General Information
Welcome |
Crusader Soccer Academy for Girls is committed to providing a safe, challenging, fun space to grow as a leader and soccer player. Our camps focus on getting lots of touches (comfort on the ball), attacking and defending in 1’s, 2’s and 3’s, and dynamic team efficient tactics (read-act, repeat). We believe the lessons we learn on the soccer field apply to off the field success, too, and vice-versa. We are faith-based coaches and a faith-based soccer camp committed to developing young athletes to become the best versions of themselves. |
Facilities |
Our camps are normally held on the campus of Belmont Abbey College. Unless otherwise specified, campers will play on the training areas located south of the Mike Reidy Tennis Center and Wheeler Athletic Center. |
Arrival/Departure Information |
We will have staff at the field 15 minutes prior to start time and 15 minutes after camp end time for your convenience. Please be respectful of these times. Please be clear with your child if someone else will be picking them up. Please send a note with your child for the coach to have when getting picked up by someone other than the parent. Inclement Weather/Safety Information Before Camp Starts |
Weather prediction can be tricky. Our primary goal is safety. After that, our goal is to continue each session as originally scheduled. If that is not feasible, then we will look at the feasibility of a delayed start. Unless you hear from me via camp facebook/email/text (to the one given to me on your registration form) prior to start time, a decision will be made at the field. Refunds are not normally offered for uncontrollable weather conditions. |
What to Bring |
Soccer ball, soccer cleats, tennis shoes, shin guards, water bottle, sun screen, positive attitude, and a passion to learn! |
Concussion Management and Title IX Policy Information |
Crusader Soccer Academy for Girls takes concussion injury prevention/management and any form of sexual misconduct in any form very seriously. Accordingly, when conducting our camps, we have adopted and agreed to follow the same policies as our college does. Please note below the Belmont Abbey College Concussion Management Plan and Belmont Abbey Title IX policy document. |
